On 9/22/18, FHS XC competed in the Los Mesquites Invitational at Kennedy Park in Tucson, AZ. Ronaldo Martinez (SR), Bryce Coffey (SO), Karly Keller (JR), and McKenna Mullen (FR) all earned honors for posting top 21 finishes in their respective races.
Martinez and Keller were able to crack the top-10 individual finishes in the boys varsity and girls open division races. Martinez finished 8th overall (19:45.5), while Keller finished 3rd overall (27:41.3). Coffey finished 12th in the boys varsity race (20:02.2), and Mullen finished 14th in the girls open division race (27:41.3).
FHS XC was set to compete on 9/19/18 in Coolidge, AZ., but that race was rescheduled due to inclimate weather. Look for our FHS Gophers Cross Country Team on the course at Grande Sports World, as we compete at Desert Twilight in Casa Grande, AZ, on 9/28/18.
