Ronaldo Martinez (SR) and Bryce Coffey (SO) have consistently been the FHS Boy's Team's top performers throughout this season. Both Martinez and Coffey have recorded top 10 finishing times at 4 of our races this season.
Martinez recorded his season's best time on 10/10/18 when FHS hosted our home meet. Martinez finished 1st place overall and his 18:20 was his fasted time recorded this season. This race was just one week after Martinez finished 2nd overall at the meet hosted by Palo Verde Magnet High School at Sefan Gollob Park in Tucson, AZ. Martinez earned a 2nd place overall finish at the meet hosted by Pusch Ridge Christian Academy on 9/12/18 as well.
Coffey, a newcomer to the team, has made his mark from the beginning of the season. Coffey finished 9th overall at our first meet of the season. Coffey finished 3rd overall at our home meet, which was the 2nd time this season he's earned a 3rd place overall finish.
Both Martinez and Coffey earned medals for their 8th and 12 place finishes in the Varsity Race at the Los Mezquites Invitational on 9/23/18.
Coffey also competes as a member of the FHS Swim Team. Let's see what else these two young men will accomplish as they continue their competition season.
