FHS XC Set PR's at Sectionals

FHS Cross Country, in their final competition of the season, headed to Crossroads Park to compete in Sectionals for a Halloween day race. The day called for warm weather and FHS Cross Country came ready to race.

Senior Carson Rowley, in his final race of his FHS cross country career, made it his best race of his career. Rowley finished with a time of 22:47.28, finishing his time in FHS red and white with a great performance.

Lady Gophers Brianna Filipow and Karly Keller set new PR's in the final race of their first seasons of competition, finishing in 32:48.99 and 25:20.93 respectively. Ryan Leopard also set a new PR, finishing his first season of competition with his best mark of 22:47.28.

Senior Ronaldo Martinez put together a solid race, keeping with the lead pack the entire race to finish in 17:50.51 and a 7th place overall finish. Sophomore Bryce Coffey put together a solid final kick for a 14th place overall finish, finishing in 18:12.48. Martinez and Coffey earned trips to the medal stand, as well as spots to compete at State Championships for their efforts!
